About The Public Jobs

What we do

The Public Jobs is an international job search site operated by The Public Jobs LTD. We gather vacancies from job boards, employer feeds and APIs that permit it, tidy them into a consistent shape, and let you search them by title, location, distance, pay, shift and contract type in one place.

Tell us what you are looking for and we will rank vacancies against those preferences and tell you why each one matched — not just that it did.

What we do not do

  • We are not the employer. Applications are made on the original employer or job board’s own site.
  • We do not claim to have every job. We list what our approved sources give us, which is a subset of each country’s market.
  • We do not scrape sites that prohibit it. Every source is collected through a method that source permits, and each one has a recorded permission status before anything is collected.
  • We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to employers.

How the matching works

We compare each vacancy against the preferences you set — distance from your location, minimum pay, category, shift, contract type and experience level — and score only the things you actually told us about. Where a listing does not state something, we treat it as unknown rather than counting it against the job.

We use AI to categorise listings, pull structured pay out of free text and write short summaries. It is never allowed to invent a detail a listing did not contain: where it cannot tell, the field stays empty.

Found a problem?

Every listing has a report link, and there is a removal request form for employers and rights holders. See also where our jobs come from.
